Rather than selling your retired car, you can donate it toward road-crash rescue training with the Western Australian Fire Department — at no cost to you.
From time to time, we pass vehicles donated to us on to the Western Australian Fire Department, where crews use them to practise road-crash rescue techniques — the same skills used to free people from real accidents.
Because these vehicles are used for hands-on training rather than resale, we can generally accept donations in a wider range of conditions than a straight cash sale — including cars that are damaged, non-running, or well past their roadworthy days.
Donating costs you nothing. We arrange free pickup from wherever the vehicle is parked, and handle the paperwork on our end, the same as we would for any other collection.
Call or message us and let us know you'd like to donate rather than sell.
We check the vehicle's suitability for training use over the phone.
We collect the vehicle at a time that suits you and handle the rest.
Donating is entirely optional — most vehicles we collect are bought for cash. If you'd rather sell than donate, our standard cash-for-cars process applies instead.
